The ultimate LCD install

I was watching some show about RVs last night, and they were taking tours of some of the higher end coaches. The host points to the bulge in the ceiling of a $500,000 RV and asks what it is. The guy hits a button and a 42" plasma flat screen comes folding down. I almost wet myself.

So how long until we start getting the posts asking, "How should I mount this 42" plasma screen in my Honda?"

try compressed air with the doors closed, but that would make it a beetle? , or fold the lcd severely

You might want to put the Mini on a flatbed and mount the screen on that

or...

Purchase a second mini, lash them together.

replace the entire windshield with an lcd screen and use cameras on the hood to see what is in front of you... a large touchscreen overlay for the lcd... touchscreen controlls displayed on the screen... also, make the front seats removable so you can sit in the rear seats and watch a movie... install popcorn machine and power generator in 2nd mini trailered behind "main"mini... replace "main" mini engine with vortech v-8 engine since you are going to be pulling around a few more pounds (but your pockets will be a few pounds lighter.... groan... horrible pun)... shoot self in foot for trying to put 42 inch screen in a car the size of a shoe box

... remove screen from mini... sell all auxiliary hardwar from using screen in mini... mount screen on ceiling of bedroom... invite some women over... score while watching porn on the ceiling...

That'd go with the mod my friend suggested to me that would basically turn my trunk into a bullet proof shield. In the event someone is trying to shoot me from behind. I would push a button and my trunk (boot for you blokes from aussie and UK) lid would slide over my rear window.. Throw a bit of armor on that .. armor the back seats of the car (and i suppose the body for that matter) and you're pretty safe from any bullets coming at you from behind

This all comes from a mod I saw of a flip up trunk. It's a pretty neat trick and it looks fairly simple to accomplish with my car.

p.s. I will not be driving the bullet proof Maxima of Doom

although i suppose some reaction plating would be nice

I just thought of something! you can write a GPS app that would make an overlay of the road infront of you and highlight the route you are to be taking! just follow the yellow brick road and all that

And, teh car infront of you, (that isn't even on your screen), all of a sudden slams on its brakes, and you do what??? :P
