    Hows this setup sound?

    ASROCK K7S41GX motherboard
Athlon2800+ (probably running at stock speed) (~70watts)
    512ddr
    160w dcdc PSU (8A on 12V line 96w)
Auzentech HDA Digital XMystique 7.1 sound card (2.8vrms analog output)
    lilliput 809gl 8" screen
    200gb hard drive

Will be running all fans/cooling units off of car battery because they arent voltage sensitive, will be relayed off of the computer, so only will be on when computer is on. Just to save the little bit of power I have left on 12V line after the cpu eats it up.

It would suck if we told you it was horrible, considering you've already got it listed in your signature.

Seriously... It looks like a well-planned setup.
Be sure to take lots of photos of the install and keep us informed of your progress.

^ Man, if you can pull that off with that 160W PSU, then I should have no worries about my Celeron M 360 setup. It won't have any hard drives either.

Well the board doesnt need alot of power <5w, the 2800 maxxes at about 70. Hard drives are 15 when seeking, and sound card shouldnt need too much, outputs 2.8v. If I have stability issues at all, ill just turn down the cpu a bit. Doesnt take much power to play music lawl.

Aslong as I run fans (including cpu fan) off of the battery, shouldnt be any problems

That Celeron M draws less than half the power of his AthXP2800.

Yeah he should have no problem. I see a 110V AC psu there too, in those pics. You using an inverter or a dc-dc power supply?

Wow your getting rid of a 15" monitor for an 8 inch one? i guess since the lilliput is touchscreen its ok, but you could buy an add on touch screen for less. Thats just my opinion tho.

I sold the whole system. The 15" was way too big, and I didnt even mold it into the dash at all. The 8" is getting fiberglass mounted to factory dash so it looks clean

Well noted; hence, this was my CPU selection due to it's 27W envelope. Average temp is 28c! I really wanted a ULV processor, but I guess it is not possible for consumers to get a hold on them especially if they're only BGA parts. However, the MSI board has a basic overclock setting with 100MHz being the default. Everything is easy except for SATA - it is tricky compared to my AMD system.

***Speaking of Athlons, I have a Barton core 2500+ @ 1.8GHz paired with a Vantec AeroFlow needing a home. It can run at 2.2-2.3GHz with a slight 0.25v bump. I even underclock it to 1.4GHz with no issues at all! It was my in my CarPC software test platform prior to setting up the Celeron M system.***
