    Pics of completed install

Finally I got my setup pretty much complete. Pics:

It does everything that I need but there is just one problem: I am still not satisfied. I had so much fun putting this thing together that I want to keep going! So this is my temp setup, I am in the middle of hacking away at my beautiful console to try and fit an 8.4" touch screen in there (once I fab something presentable). I met with Leslie and he just totally sold me on that screen. Looks incredible. Also, I want more POWER ( grunts ) - going to go with a shuttle board and GPS, plenty of divx, the works. Right now it's pretty bare bones and does the job, but i can't help myself. Just when I thought I was done...it crept up on me in my sleep heh. Let me know what you think, and Wish me luck!

P.S. more general pics of the car at my website below!

yeah thats the only accessible location I could find =( I didn't want to keep it in the trunk, it would be too much of a ***** to switch dvds/games.

I might make a small box to cover the ps2, so it's somewhat hidden, or just get better tints =)

o.O you obviously don't live in anything resembling an urban area.. that would be gone already

Actually, I live in one of the most urbanized areas of this nation, the jam packed long island area =) So far no problems, but i do not keep the ps2 in there all the time, only when I think i'll use it.

    Cliff,

What have you done with winamp to be able to read the song titles. I have mine set as double size, but I can hardly see the songs since there are so many ans quite small. Thanks

cruzc_99.. what size screen are you using?

I'm using a 5.6" and winamp is lovely... the GPS software I'm using, though, is a bit difficult to see.

Go into the preferences part of winamp and look for playlist font size. Move it to as big as you like, thank god for it!

Sweet. It seems that there are quite a few of us Grand Am owners who have given this a shot. I went a bit excessive with my LCD and AMPs tho. I am also pushin two 12" Vipers in my trunk. No head unit at all. If you have a few, check out my site.
