if it was a plug and play they might as well have included it in the stock dash..
you can probably buy a separate tach and wire it that way.. it shouldn't be too hard to do
Hi guys i will soon be buying a new car. I was set on buying a peugeot 306 but i am not sure that i will be able to afford one. I have been looking and the 106, which is one of my favorie car just consurned about the space, but have noticed that there is no rev counter. Now for a 17 year old boy thats a big problem. I have seen dash panels that u can buy with the speed and rev's and i was just wondering if anyone knows if this is a plug n play thingy or will it be more work than than that, and if so what?
Thanks for the help!
Come on Peugeot....I want to fill you with noise!

You can get a 106/Saxo pod with rev counter already built in, and it will work straight away on plugging in.
I can confirm bigmac's statement, i had a 98 106, look2 version. It came with clock instead of rev counter. Swapped the dash for a dash from a gti, worked perfectly, and looked much better. Make sure you get an analogue one though, as i first got a digital one, and the plugs are all different.
Hey thanks guys. Phil did you buy it online? Or know where i can get one, online or not? Have had a search but seems to be abit of a grey area on the net. Thanks for your help tho.
