Hey all,
I had a 7" ws and car pc in my 350Z. Install couldn't have been easier. Traded it in for an Evo VIII and I have no idea as to where to start with a car pc install in this car.
Does anyone have any suggestions/build-logs/links/gotchas for what I can look at to get started on a build for the Evo VIII? Any way to avoid fabrication would be great. I'd like to stick with a 7" widescreen (xenarc this time), but any info on what other sizes have been successfully installed would be greatly appreciated!
The only problem I've had with the lilliput was that it could not handle cold weather (sub-40 degrees...I live in colorado). Any info on screens that are more resistant to cold weather?
Thanks!

I have a Xenarc 700-TSV and it hit sub -40 here in Calgary a few times so far this year. I've had the screen installed for 10 months and it's never ever not turned on no matter how cold it was. The hard drive wouldn't turn, but the screen still came on.

Awesome...thanks guys!
How is that xenarc in direct sunlight?
Honestly? You can't tell if it's on or off. You can't see ****. I'm waiting for a sunlight readable Xenarc and throwing this one out the window on the highway, but other than that it's awesome.
