Time for me to show off -- my carputer is shown on official Subaru website :)

I guess it's time for me to show off, I don't it often but here we go -- some video footage about my carputer is shown on one of the official Subaru of North American promo websites. A company hired by Subaru of North America filmed evens that were taking place at Team O'Neil Rally School. It was about two winners of SubaruShakedown.com game, one of whom happened to be me.

So part of the filming was filming my carputer. I never really expected Subaru of North America approving it to go live on that website but I guess they did like it. So now it's live on one of official Subaru Promo Websites.

    Check it out:

    www.imprezashakedown.com

    - Once on this website, "WATCH THE ACTION" in lower right.
    - Then click "MEET THE SHAKE DOWN CHAMPIONS".

That's where you see "Tour Vlad's tricked out Subaru WRX".

Comments are welcome. I know my setup is not complete by any means. + Ghetto straps that hold pc case on the arm rest. But like I said in the interview, this is the project that never stops.

Hope this will be another encouragement for those who just lurk to finally start their project off the ground!

    Nice video.

But more importantly MY COMBINED CLOCK, SPEEDO & COMPASS flash object is famous !!!!!!!!

Have a look at my web site f1vlad for an idea of how i have mounted my CarPC to my Impreza (www.wrx-carpc.co.uk) Its under the photo section. I have to take a few more photos as the panel is now covered in the same material as the boot cloth and has the PC, power supply, USB hub etc all mounted to it. Looks very nice if i do say so myself !!!

    Regards,

Well at least it's not that bad. I believe everything's properly wired. But since I am still in developing phase I don't want to hide it too deep as of yet.

That's a regular Road Runner with BMV skin, in the centre it's a clock flash module made by Tissy @ mp3car.com.
