Help me build a CarPC

As the title states, help me choose my CarPC. I had been planning to get the lower level Intel system that mp3car.com sold, but its been removed from the listing. I definitely don't need a core2duo in my car and thats way too much money to spend for this project. The via systems are attractively priced, but I don't know what the differences are between the four different processors they offer. Could someone break that down for me? Here are the four offered:
M10000
MII120000
SP8000
SP13000

I only plan on using the carputer for streetdeck (navigation, music and movies). I have thought about building a shuttle PC and throwing in a DC-DC PSU but thats a bit large and wouldn't save me that much money if these VIA processors do what I need them to do.

Any suggestions are welcome and my only restraint is I'm trying to keep this under $1000 for the caputer, streetdeck software and GPS receiver. Thanks a lot.

I believe the reason the lower powered intel was removed was due to being out of stock.

there's not that much different between the processors. Among those 4 I would stick with either the MII12000 or the SP13000.

I've run the MII12000 for a little over 2 years now I believe. Keep in mind though that I use the CarPC as a very basic feature. Music, navigation, and occasionally movies. If you remove the glow on the buttons on streetdeck, you shouldn't have much lag at all with the MII12000.

Ok, I do want to do everything streetdeck asks for, so I think i'm gonna go with the SP13000. VIA is very affordable. Would you recommend the 90 or 160 watt power supply?

go for the 160. it's overkill for what you probably will need, but it will allow you to expand and its only ~$10 more for almost twice the power.

If you want to do everything SD ask for, you shouldn't go with any VIA processor. I don't use SD, but I am sure that the software requires much more processor power than the VIA can offer. Also, remember that the developers always adding more functions to the software, not removing it.
Spend a little more, take your time do some reasearch in the showoff forum. Find out what other people running as for front end and what hardware spec and add it to your shopping list.
Without some research, you will be spend much much more than needed.

Hmm... I'm going to look into the above statement. What specifically will it have trouble doing?
