Are CAR PC's in high demand??

Hi there - new to the Forums...

Im was thinking about selling products such as Car Pc's, car Monitors (as i am able to get hold of these at good prices) - but was just wondering - would it be worth my while, are they are in high demand?

    Please get back to me...

with the internet at your fingertips, everything is in high demand.
However, chances are the prices you can get them for are the prices many other people can get them for, and the biggest draw on the internet is who has the lower price.

    ok thanks - fair point.

I suppose the only way is to take the risk - as all successful business people do.

If you want to be succesfull selling the product, I suggest you go through the process of installing one yourself. That way you will know what to expect in the way of requests, complaints etc from your customers.

Also do a lot of reading on the forum to find out what is popular, reliable, crap etc.

Don't expect it to be a quick buck earner.

It's great, but as with many computers you'll need to be able to support the noobs. Even the technologically limited might want a CarPC as well, but have no knowledge of computers.

This is why I don't like to build computers for "everyone" because I keep getting calls about it.

thats why you have a support forum and ticket system. you cant be picky about your customers, they pay your wage and you have to market stratigies to overcome such problems.
