Nemesis,
What are you using for the second receiver?
Great thread, I have one coming over the ocean on a slow boat...
Since I just got girder working for my car computer with an ATI RF remote, I feel I am ready for a new challenge (home AV computer)
Keep the info coming.
Nemesis,
What are you using for the second receiver?
I built it into the supplied settop receiver, as per the file on my web site. I had the printer port spare so I used that as the interface.

Just got it, played with the soldering iron for a while, and it works!
Here is a thread on girder that some of y'all might want to look at. http://www.girder.nl/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=25823#25823
Now I have to get to work deciding what to do with all those buttons.
Is this Remote available in the US? or just in the UK??
Very interested.
Does it work with any computer system?
Peace,
Rafael
I have been using this for a few weeks now and still cant decide on what to use some of the keys for
BTW The Girder thread was mine, theres a lot more info and discussion on this thread.

I got mine off ebay, and then it took 12 days for the trip across the ocean. By itself it doesnt work with anything really...HOWEVER, with a tiny bit of soldering (4 wires) and some IR control program (we like Girder) it works with windows computers. Can't speak for Linux. I have used it on win98 and win2k.
And for anyone else needing to do the soldering...you only need to do pin 2,3,5, and 7. The rest are N.C. See Nemesis's file for the rest of the story.
Thanks for the info Dodge! I found something else for input for my carputer. Check it out. I know a lot of places have these, but this is a VERY reasonable price.
