    Delorme USB power adaptor, won't hibernate

    Does anyone know of a hack that will allow me to put my system inot hibernate without getting a error message saying that the KLSI USB to R232 is preventing the machine from hibernating.

    I have the latest drivers installed and they just will not allow the system to go into hibernate mode.

    Ran into the same problem when borrowing my friends gps...no idea...

    Question for you- will the computer hibernate when pluged directly into the serial port?

    Yes I think. My touch screen is connected to the serial port and if my GPS is not running then the machine will hibernate.
