Hey, I have an 04' accord with navi and the dvd-unit went down recently so I'm trying to see if there is a way to hack into the gps reciever mounted on the hood and connect it to my laptop somehow through a usb or something else, that i can use something like mapmonkey on my laptop. Anyone have any advice I havn't had any success finding threads regarding tapping into a stock gps reciever. Maybe i'm just looking wrong. Thanks!
Unfortunatly chances are that the GPS reciever your speaking about is only the antenna. In order to pull off what your talking about you'd have to get a GPS moudle (like the UBOX antaris), figure out how to wire the antenna on to it, and convert the RS232 output to USB.
