BUGBYTE- your link is not to a RCA to RGB adapter. it is for a RCA to Vga. they are totaly different. i still stand by my statement there is no such thing. but thanks anyways.

Perhaps my use of the term adaptor suggested that there is a magic cable to do this. You are correct that there is not. However, that does not mean it cannot be done. There is almost always a solution for something like this.

BUGBYTE- yes that is a RCA to VGA converter in your secound link but unfortunatly the RGB input on my lcd is a twenty pin molex connector. the link you provided was RCA to RGB composite. that works great for home component systems but not for automotive. i kept getting hits like those on my search engines. i don't know if you read my update, i found what i needed to make it work. now i 'd like to know how bugbyte edited MY post?! how is that possible?
