Can't get get satellites with iGuidance/Navibe GM720

I finally got all the parts I need for my carpC. I have it all set up on a table in my office, everything is up and running, I got iGuidance installed, got the maps working, etc. I installed my Navibe GM720 GPS antenna on COM3, put it outside my window, opened iGuidance...no satellites, 0/12. I rebooted, tried again, then it said 0/0 satellites. I reinstalled the driver, same thing. I checked the driver profile, says it's working fine. Made sure iGuidance was set to COM3 and made sure it was installed on COM3, both are correct. Both are set to 9600 baud as well. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

have you tried Xport?

Fixed it, I put two 10' USB extensions on, dropped it outside my window, and brought it about 10' away from the building. I guess the aprtment was just interfering with the reception.
