Is anyone else getting tired of waiting for a pc based gps application to support 5hz updating?
Come on.... This should finally be included in all the software out there.

They make 5Hz GPS no problem. Thing is nobody need that. Even car manufacturers use 1Hz GPS because it is cheap. They make the images smooth by using speed sensors and turn sensors as well which is all doable via the PC, but then the software would need to support it. And I am sure PC navigation software is mostly used by people who just lug a laptop in there car when driving cross country, not for people with dedicated carpcs, so hooking up a gps puck, speed sensor, turning sensor is a lot more for the average joe, then plug-n-go usb puck.

But we dont have a GBP key on our keyboards.![]()
And on a laptop without a numpad, ascii codes are of little help.
And why is it the british pound? Shouldn't it be the "british kilogram"? GBKG!

Yeah they have used euros for a few years. 2002/2003 I think.
But the Venezuelan Bolivar is around 1usd to 2500 bolivar.
I think the turkish lira (old style) used to be 1:1000000 or even 1:1500000
