    well about few months ago I ordered the co-pilot 2002 and tried it with my friend's garmin 35 (USB) model . The Odd thing is when the sofeware(copilot) is first installed It didn't work with a garmin 35 (USB) But after connect copilot GPS and change back to garmin 35-USB , it worked. I though it's either a driver problem or a USB problem. (I returned it after this) So I'm thinking about ordering garmin 35 - serial model.

    Does anyone know if this garmin35 -serial one work with copilot 2002 without any modification?

    Are you still looking for the Garmin GPS35? If you have already gotten it, does it work with Copilot 2002? I have the Garmin GPS16 which is about the same as the 35 cept the 16 is WAAS capable. I've tried so many different settings and I could not get it to work. If you got it working, please let me know.

    I have this one (Deluo GPS USB),

    I bought 3 of them to dut the import price to europe...

    Just work fine!

    It's a ful NMEA compliant so it's compatible with most software...

    Tested with route66 2003/Autoroute 2002 (europe)

    To europe it was ~100 euro shipping inclued.

    hmm, I'm also quite puzzled about which GPS receiver to buy. In this forum it is claimed 'a personal preference', but reading in the German ebay they speak about receivers with Sirf II chipset which are claimed to have a accuracy of 1 - 3 meters versus 5 - 25 with older models. So is it correct that Sirf II based receivers are better

    So... Since CoPilot doesn't work with it, what's the best program to use on a small (7") LCD?


    Also, can somebody please PM me instructions on how to install this damn thing? I'm running XP Pro.
