Alright lads, Skin is done. All 3 resolutions (512_240, 400_420, 400_215)

In skin format so just drop it into the content/skin/ directory. For sys_pc.txt changes, under interface add/change Theme="Spawn", in the rawdisplay section set your window size doubled accordingly (800x480, 800x430, 1024x480), highres is set to 1.

My original Centrafuse Skin supports 800x430, my most recent one supports 1024x480.

I have your original 800x430 running in Centrafuse. If I don't need higher resolutions, should I still upgrade?

Never mind. I saw your teaser shots on the uk forums. I'm definitely upgrading.

Yes. It was a full "from the ground up" rebuild including a bunch of new features. Most notably:

    - Quick menu for Road Types selection on map screen
    - Quick tap selection for Routing methods with live recalculation
    - Quick link to the Plan Mode Screen (redesigned to look like the PDA/PNA version
    - 3d Compass and destination on map screen with the car in the centre courtesy of rolloo

There were other small background tweaks as well.

I'll be honest, if you are using my old CF skin, try out the new version as this rebuild was a direct result of that skin running at 1024*768 which is the reason for the 1024x480 iGO skin

I'll be re-uploading this soon, I was in the middle of a move and really busy at work. I'll post when it's up.

Awesome, looking forward to your release. Spawn you are by far the best iGO programmer / skinner out there. I've been using your release for over a year now and have not even wanted to look at any other gps software

There is only one thing I've found that I don't like about iGO, and that is the inability to view 2d maps in heading mode vs north up. Hardly a reason to stop using it though. Keep up the great work man!

Thanks brother, I've tired to get the north up vs heading working as it's in the PDA/PNA version but I just don't think the code is there in the pc exe we use.

I'v been playing around with iGo8 and really like it compared to iguidance which i was using.

I'm just having a few problems. I'm using spawn's skin and i think he did a great job on it.

    Problems:
Sometimes when i zoom in and out of the map it acts all funny. It will let me zoom in and out then all of a sudden they don't work anymore. Sometimes when i zoom in or out it will zoom out/in fully and will have no control until i re-load the program. Maybe its just me.

I have igo8 embeded into RideRunner and works fine, but i find when i'm on the gps screen my music gets distorted sometimes, but only when i'm on the gps screen. As soon as i go to another screen the music is fine. Maybe a setting...

And of course like blk02si mentioned the inability to view 2d maps in north up vs heading. 3Dmaps work in this fashion, but if its not in the code, its not in the code..

Great work.. I'm still playing around with the settings, so maybe the zoom and audio problem are settings related or maybe my system it too crappy, but iguidance worked.

    I'm running a P4 2.4Ghz
    1GB Ram

    EDIT:
Looks like iGo8 is more CPU intensive than iguidance. My audio distortion probably has to do with the fact that my cpu is maxing out when running igo8 in riderunner. My cpu is pretty consistant in the 90-100% cpu usage range, but when i run iguidance its not even close to that. So, looks like my cpu can't handle igo8. Thats too bad..

I just started messing with iGo and can't wait to get it into the car (re-fabbing the dash...again...). The one issue I think I have with it is that I seem to have to re-set the zoom and angles each time to get the look I want. Is there any way I can save that? I've tried messing with the settings in the sys_pc file and also in the save folder but always end up making things worse instead of better (probably changing the wrong things b/c I don't have a reference to go by).

I've done a little searching but haven't come across an answer yet. Any hints?
