Hi
i have installed igo8_pc , it works very well.
But i have bought fm9 RDS TMC Receiver ( GNS) , and it does not work ,
i do not why?
Someone can help me ?

JCG, you just need a GPS receiver, what exactly is a fm9 RDS TMC receiver?

The GNS FM9 RDS TMC adapter is a FM receiver with RDS/TMC ability.
With this new adapter GNS extends its successful product portfolio. As world-wide the first enterprise developed the company from Germany TMC- and GPS/TMC receivers, which are used for portable dynamic navigation equipment.
The GNS FM9 extends mobile navigation systems with integrated GPS receiver (like Mitac Mio 168) with RDS/TMC functionality. With help of the GNS FM9 the received traffic messages are through-handed to the navigation software, these can again compute an alternative route with consideration of the new traffic conditions and avoid the traffic jam.

I just use an old Holux that I bought off of ebay about 5 years ago and it works flawlessly with iGo. No need for anything fancy.

I use 2 different styles of microsoft GPS and both work great.

Hello,
I installed igo8 pc in my CarPC and it's great.
I tried with a USB GPS and it works very well!
But I noticed that when I was connected to satellites there was a point that was walking on the arrow (cursor that moves with my car).
Is this normal?
When I'm out of the connection disappears.

BamBam, how would you be able to get the version of IGO from your MIO working on your PC?

I think you misunderstood what I said. I have IGO8 on my hacked Mio c310x but I will have to buy the PC version to have it work in my carpc...

You can't buy the official PC Version because it doesn't exist.

I have read the other thread that is linked and pretty much every single question that you will ever have is answered in it. I also think that posting in this thread is a waste because of the rules and regulations on bootleg software.

Other thoughts... posting questions in the other thread because you don't feel like reading or searching is a big part of the reason why some threads are so freaking long and you'll just be making it worse.

PS: I love the two post above. Classic
