Igo 2008

fyi, here's a screenshot of my Centrafuse/Igo8 set-up. this evolving "demo" has become my primary gps over Garmin Mobile PC. i'm dreaming that igo8 will officially integrate this in Centrafuse 3.0.

Is there anyone successfully using iGO8 PC and Nokia LD-3W?
My receiver works with every other software, but iGO8 kills the serial port service, after the first connection. Then the receiver must be restarted, and sometimes the stack must be reinstalled. It's the same with iGO 2006 PC.

what skin is that lancing?

Is it easy to install different skins for iGO? I've been using twingos, it came preinstalled in the iGO package I found on the interwebs

Spawn's skin. Check out the digital-car.co.uk forums. LeZandre started a thread there posting all the different skins, maps, and files. Not hard at all once you do it a few times.

my jumping list problem was solved in doing the new pc install. i guess igo8 doesnt like little 1.33ghz pcs

iGO was designed for small CPU's but i think the emulation layer causes it to take more resources.

Lancing, 1 more q for ya, I'm messing around with spawns skin, which is stellar, the only thing I cannot figure out is how you get the left bar transparent like you have? I'm inclined to believe it's a different version of the skin since I cannot find an option for it anywhere.

Easy answer: Like lacning74 already wrote: " That's a Spawn skin". (It's perhaps just one of his more recent ones than you're using.)
Nothing to configure, start it up and it should be transparent.

I'll see if I can find some different versions, since I like the transparency better. Most likely it's just a slightly different data.zip file. Also loving the animated menu option, so cool!

Spawn doesn't recompress the data.zip anymore, works just as fine.
