where do you put your gps reciever?

I have my whole truckputer in my front cab. I don't know where the best place is to place my gps so it stays hidden, yet visible to the sky and stays secured

Mine is buried in my dash, under one layer of plastic panel. Works great!

Rear package shelf under the "carpet".

Works great never have a problem with reception.

so maybe I can stuff mine in my defrost vent. unless any of you see a problem with the 88 or so degrees of heat affecting that lil unit.

Been that way for many years, its behind the instrument cluster, only one sheet of plastic dash then windshield. High number of sats constantly.

Stuffed mine inside a stuffed ducky to conceal it for security reasons. Then drilled a hole in the duck to mount a suction cup and stuck that on my rear window.
