Look in Device Manager for a USB-to-Serial driver.
That would be your GPS unit. You can tell what port in the properties on the ADVANCED tab. You can also change the port if you so desire.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

The proper settings for our GPS receiver are SIRF III for the device type and a Baud rate of 57600. The driver was included with the receiver. If you lost the disk just download it from our site. www.mo-co-so.com. The drivers section is on the bottom left of the page.
