can you post the debug log please
Ok been testing it out, The client side crashes on me when i resume half the time, when it doesnt crash I still have to stop and start the gps to get it to update to the server, It keeps pulling gps data fine after resume just wont update the server... The last version resumed fine, and pulled gps data fine after resume it just would not update the server![]()
I finally got this installed. Still haven't gotten it working quite right yet, still need to play with it a bit.
One problem is I got an error from the client about not having the correct IP address I think it was. I didn't put in my IP address, instead I put www.mydomain.com. Will that work or will I need to put the actual IP address in? Will I need to change it every time my IP changes?
I use webcamXP running some security cameras. It's suppose to send me an SMS through here, http://textu.org. So far I haven't been able to get that part to work but I was thinking it might be an option instead of using skype.
The ipaddress is in two part. The external address must be a fixed address and is the one that tells the web how to find your server.
The internal address is how you find the server on your own home router network.
As far as I knew a web address should work as long as you have port forwarded to your server.
Anybody tried the geofencing yet? Can't test for real myself because I'm travelling so dieing to know if it does.
Im just figuring out the geofencing now so ill let you know soon.. One thing thats kinda annoying whenever i move the map around it pops up this error
" IS Point Within Polyline: false" I keep having to click ok..
This is my debug, I started it up let it track then hibernated and right when i resumed it crashed![]()

Yeh. I noticed i left that debug in. I've already removed it.
I'm hopeing you've changed the ipaddress and port in debug to hide your identity rather than not actually having set them.
I have some time today when I can actually use my gps so will work on fixing this. Also putting together a proper installer as I've just figuired out how o do that as well.
This looks really promisingwill download it and have a play with it on the laptop

Yes sir! Not about to post my address to my server to world lol :-p
I've fixed what I think was the bug but because I was running both the tracker and the server on my laptop and it kept changing my ipaddress after hibernating I couldn't test fully.
I've also made an installer that should find the ini file setup you currently have and reuse it, IF its in the same install directory.
Get it on the first post.
Any feedback is welcome as allways
