Sorry, XPort doesn't have a 64 bit driver. I wasn't aware that it even worked. It's probably being run in a 32 bit emulation mode so it will be much slower.
Hi,
This message is for Curiosity, creator of xPort.
Your program worked great in XP, but on my Windows 7 64bit machine, it bogged down even though I ran it with Administrators rights and in XPSP2 Compatibility mode.
I checked, and apparently GPSGate had to issue a special patch here:

Do you need a similar patch for the virtual ports?
Can we use the GpsGate patch in the mean time?
I am using it with Microsoft Street and Trips 2009, which works fine with a USB GPS, but bombs on the Haicom Bluetooth GPS.
Thanks!

Thanks for the clarification.
Hope eventually you will write a 64bit driver for those of us who moved to x64.
Thanks
Yeah, me too. It doesn't have to be an official signed driver. I'm fine with running Windows 7 64-bit in the test mode.
+3 for xport 64bit version
Looking for lurv here C, I hate gpsgate

I started on it a while ago, but got distracted. I'll pick it up again and get it to work.
