australia 2009 search for pc

please does anyone know of any software that has good 2009 maps of australia and queensland mainly... I like using my centrafuse however the maps for au seem to all be 2006... I cannot find any 2009 or 2008 maps anywhere and I really like the layout and intergration so if anyone know where to find destinator maps for au please lemme know.

If I need to use different software I can live with that, I just can't find anything with 09 maps... I have tried searching in all the different forums like australiagps and laptopgps and have had little results in finding anything so far

even garmin seem to have discontinued most of their australia map products

Garmin has 2010 maps out and about,igo has 2008 maps and later for vers 8.3 and amigo,destinator has 2008 maps,try google

I'm not new to google :P I cannot find any of these maps would you be able to post links if possible

I admit it is a relief to know it is out there... Garmin looks like the best bet for latest maps so I'll check into them a little more and report back

called up garmin themselves and they couldn't help... All I got was that nRoute was discontinued and that the new software Garmin Moblie PC was no coming out in australia... I asked If i could buy the software overseas and put australia maps on it and was told that it would not work or that they could not get it working and so its not coming out in aus... Then he refered me to a GPS specialist company who told me that laptop navigating never took off in australia and that basically it was virtually imposible to get the latest maps for any of them

It would be great if sombody could get Garmin Mobile PC working in australia

called garmin and yes they offer the maps but no software to work with it :P except the old nRoute which is discontinued yay... garmin mobile pc is not being released in australia and the maps are not compatible

Called a GPS speciallilst and he basically said I was withount a hope

and that nobody really had updated maps for australia.

Try googling the forum rules as well. They will tell you that the mention of pirated software is not tolerated here.

I must have missed where i mentioned pirated software,Would you like me to grab a screenshot of the results when i google igo for example, try it and get off your high horse

not on my high horse mate just getting despirate, every day after work im looking around on google and calling people and everything... so far the best I can come up with is emulating a smartphone and running the software on that

If you had a link I would be more than greatful.

Read your first quoted post. If that doesn't infer downloading it off the net, i don't know what does. I am well aware of what you can look for on the net. I am reminding you about the forum rules. If you don't like them, too bad. They are there for a reason. It is my job to enforce them.
