GPS issue

cant get it to work in the truck so gonna go buy a new one, just total bs.

well got anoyed decided to pull the receiver out and just for fun stuck it on my roof and what do ya know got signal lol. dont get it, worked perfectly for a year in the dash. will keep a eye on it to see if it goes back

Are you getting at least 8-10 pretty strong? I would think so. Just try some different spots. Fall equinox has moved the sats lower in orbit. Uhm... Make sure it's facing up and not under anything metal. Maybe just on top of the dash if nothing else.

mounted the unit outside the truck and now get perfect signal, 8-9 satellites. Works like a charm.

... and since BU353 is waterproof, you can leave it on the roof of your truck all year round. Rain or snow will not harm it. And I personally would not worry much about hot and cold temperatures either. Mine has survived freezing Canadian winters and hot summers, too.
