yes but it's hideous, save yourself headaches and get a real gps solution like CoPilot or DeLorme product
Does this work with GPS like constantly relocating your possision and such?

You can do some fun things with mappoint , it can be embeded within your visual basic app. The max update rate (for gps) is too slow , I just wrote my own handler.

So what is the best program and where can I get it?

IMHO CoPilot is the best and you can pick it up at most computer stores

I see that the original Poster is in the US, so Co-Pilot is fine, but unfortunatly it doesn't cover Europe.Originally posted by freestyler

For that Mappoint with AGPS is a clunky, but workable solution, Maybe better is Destinator for PC, or Infomap Navigator

Just thought I'd mention this about Mappoint 2001 at least.
I just got back from going to Colorado to do some 4 wheelin' in the jeep and well one of the routes was Silverton to Buena Vista and Mappoint decided to plan the route across a 4x4 only jeep trail that goes up through the mountains via tricky and rocky switch backs, so I'm not too confident in the route planning of that software any more
just an fyi, watch out for the routes it wants you to take!
That AGPS thing is awesome... But it doesn't work for S&T
Does anyone know of anything comparible with S&T? Or anything that works similar but works in Canada?![]()
