    When you install Navigator Free, there is a map downloader. You have to download the maps using the map downloader tool.
    That updater will also periodically update the map data.

    I've found that the map data for OSM gets updated far more frequently than any of the commercial GPS products (Garmin, ALK, etc.)
    Have you looked in the FAQ yet?

    yes, but all the USA maps are locked.....
