    Thanks but no thanks SNO.
I purchased the lifetime premium for my Android tab, used the app for a bit,.. then they changed the whole look and feel. Much more difficult to use now. I liked the older version better. More user friendly.
Then I grabbed up iGO Primo and never looked back.
It's a shame though, I really liked the older version of Sygic.

No problem, I prefer Co-Pilot Live V8 and use almost everyday (pc version in my truck and iPhone version on my phone) But I also own Sygic (pc version) but don't use it. Just though if anyone is using Sygic and going the android route that this might be good for them. SNO

    Much appreciated SNO,...

I never tried CoPilot, hmm. I may look into this.
I use Garmin on my W8.1 tab only because there isn't any 1280x800 skin for iGO PC anywhere on the interwebs that I can find. And Mickz put together a nice useable OSK for Garmin which helped alot.

    As far as Sygic,
not alot of users lately have been very happy with the changes made. Read all the negative feedback on Google store. That's also why I dropped it,...
and because of the dumb changes the devs made and took out some of the nice features it had in the older version(s).
It was nice while it lasted.

I got that Sygic mail too. It was so badly made, even the links looked extremely suspicious, that I thought it was a phishing mail... lol

If one has a creative way to get current maps into GMPC, is there an advantage to using Sygic on Windows in the car?

Not really. I think Sygic came into play when CF and Destinator had issues with no updates so CF went to Sygic to get current support back. If your happy with Garmin then I would save your money. SNO
