    Destinator PocketPC Maps with Destinator PC SDK

    Hi,

    I was asking myself if I could use my Destinator PowerPC Europe maps
    with Destinator PC SDK and how. Does map have the same file format?

    Any suggestions?

    Install the SDK, unzip your maps into the Destinator folder , start destinator and switch to the new maps. There you go.

    Yes, the do work for me using the example code provided with the sdk. You only have to decompress them onto the Destinator folder and that's all.

    Are the maps with the proper PC edition bigger, or still the small subsections of the country(s)?

    Car changed for TVR Griffith 500, so computer de-installed. Using a Dension 100ix w/60Gb HD unit in the interim.

    Tried right now. Maps on first CD cannot be swapped.
    The Destinator SDK demo says they are corrupted.
    The germany map on the second CD works perfectly.

    You did decompress them correctly? eg Extract the contents of G1\G1.ZIP into Destinator\G1 ?
