I just had this little beauty with me on a trip to New York and I have to say I'm very impressed.

The size is about that of a Sony Clie and the software is excellent. While in NY I was able to look up even relatively obscure places with no trouble and although GPS is rather iffy in a town like that, I was able to get a fix often enough to pretty much know where I was and where I had to go.

The maps are from NavTech and the routing is as good as Destinator both of which, at least in my area, have given me the best and most logical routes of any program.

Battery life is not great, but the car mount works well and has it's own speaker. You can override the speaker if you plug into the headphone out, which then allows you to play music AND have the guidance at the same time.

I might end up keeping it so that I can stop trying to cludge all these programs to work on the mac. They all work, but it's a pain in the ***.

The other thing that is really cool is that I can have both marine and street maps at the same time! It uses the data seamlessly.

Pretty cool if you ask me.

My only complaints are that it takes too long to recalc after I stray off course and that the battery life is a little bit short.
