The new CoPilot will work with any more GPS's and it is awesome, but it is $250. I have a freind who swears by MS Streets.

Is anyone else using Delorme street atlas 2003 and GPS unit is the U.S. I am looking for a more detailed map that I can use with my Delorme GPS unit.

Older versions of copilot can be fooled into using any GPS unit with programmable output. If anyone wants to know how, I'll post the info on it again.

Is street atlas not detailed enough? I don't use it just asking. I use delorme topo usa. it seems to have all the streets up until I get to a parking lot
The people here at GPSPassion.com have a section dedicated to iGuidance. They love it! http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/d....asp?CAT_ID=12
They have specifically compared it to Delorme's stuff and declared it crap. Makes me want to try it anyway...

Street atlas 2003 is okay. The one major flaw I dont like is that it sometimes it does not diplay the street name when you appraoch the street. Like at the intersection. It's kinda a drag when your GPS does not show you what street you are on. I heard that the street atlas 2004 they correct this problem. Isn't copillot only used on the handheld devices and not windows?

Personally, I use MS Streets & Trips 2004 w/my Earthmate USB. It needs some updating (doesn't have the latest street names/redesignations since my home town moved the city limits, or the college I go to), but it does most of what I ask it to.
Later.

I've seen this also. Is anyone on this forum using iGuidance? It seems that everybody that would ask off another brand of gps the moderaters on that forum would butcher what ever it is if it is not iGuidance. It looks okay but I've only seen the pocket PC ver.

I have both Delorme and MS S&T 2004. I like Delorme because of all the info it shows like speed and I like the arrow instead of just the car MS uses. I like MS thought because I can get a big easy to read map without much other stuff on the screen.
I'd love to get copilot but with a new baby at home I can't afford $250 for it. Are any of you running the newest version that just came out this month?
Does anyone know if you can get more info out of MS like speed? I don't see any real gps options in it.
