So, you're plugging the Earthmate into a usb-to-serial converter, and then that into a serial port? Have you tried just plugging the Earthmate into a usb port and using the Delorme supplied usb-serial drivers? This works fine for me.
I am testing MP2004 w/ AGPS together with my USB earthmate (using USB to Serial). A few seconds after I 'Start GPS', the light on Earthmate stops blinking completely. Has anyone else observed this issue? Is there a fix for it?
TIA,

Probably it was a wrong explanation. I plugged into USB port, used USB-to-Serial drivers from DeLorme. I start MP2004. If I select Tools->GPS->TrackSensor, it always keeps running (the light on earthmate keeps blinking). If I choose to run the 'AGPS' via Tools->Advanced GPS->Start GPS, it fires up fine, and then the light stops blinking. AGPS I am using is the latest release (.30)
