    GPS Hardware for Destinator

I was wondering what GPS unit someone you use to connect to Destinator SDK since I havent had any luck connecting my ancient Trimble.

    Thanks Magnus

    I use a Fortuna U2.

Strange that you can't get Destinator to see it, Destinator works with most any receiver. Have you verified that you can see the NMEA strings on the serial port without Destinator, eg by connecting to the port with Hyperterminal?

When you've got that working, then use those same settings in Destinator. Destinator should scan and detect though.

Car changed for TVR Griffith 500, so computer de-installed. Using a Dension 100ix w/60Gb HD unit in the interim.

The strange thing is that I can open the serial port with Hyperterminal and see that everything is working. But the Destinator still can't see it. So I have given up. It was a very old gps and I got it for free from my work so it would be nice to make it work.
