    Choosing Reciever

Hey.. Searched through the forum for different kind of recievers available.. But still dont have a definite selection in my mind. Maybe you guys can give me a few pointers...

First of all, this is for use in Canada, and im almost 90% sure i'm gonna go with MS Map Point 2004, since i have it / tried it, and i have no complaints about it.

Now from what i read, if i want to use MS Map Point.. the DeLorme GPS reciever wont work? Or is that only for older versions?

Now Deluo recievers are even mentioned to be compatible with MS Map Point on their web-site. They have decent reviews also... Now does anyone have suggestions on signal strength or anything to do with performance of these units. I narrowed it down to basically those 2 units for their price / performance. I'm looking for something in sub $150 range. Any other recommendations or some recievers i missed and should consider?

I have the deluo receiver and I ran it with both Streets & trips 2004 and Routis. The receiver must be very sensitive because I was locked on to 4 out of 9 sats inside my bedroom. My home is a single story with a shake shingle roof. It was 8pm and I live in SAn Diego,California. I was under the impression that the receiver had to have a clear view of the sky but from what I can see it doesn't... just not something metalic blocking it's view.
