    GPS Package

I am currently using MapPoint and trying to get to grips with AGPS, it seems it should make up for MapPoint's shortcomings whileletting me keep the benefits but it is a bit of a struggle to get used to.

I have been looking around at other packages, is anyone aware of a comparative review of GPS apps?

I am familiar with Destibator2 on PocketPC and like it a lot, I think it is very expensive though and do not want to buy it for the PC. I also have a dislike of activation mechanisms that make it a pain to move between PC's.

Routis seems popular, does it work in a similar fashion to Destonator where cross-map routing is not possible?

What do people think to the other cheaper mapping apps?

    Chris.

I assume you are from UK? I dont think Routis is out for europe yet though. Destinator 3 for PDA is good, I think its better than TomTom 2. Ill test drive it as soon as I can

Theres also Mapsonic made by michelin. Im not all that impressed with it. The s/w seems buggy, the route it takes is iffy. At one time it want me to go anti-clockwise in the round-about

Probably misleading, I'm orignally from the UK but now live in Boston, MA, USA. I have used Destinator 2 and was quite impressed, the only dislike was the picking maps and only being able to have one loaded in memory at a time.

I think Destinator 3 will fix this problem by allowing you to customize your own map. For me, I'll make the whole country 1 big map.
