I have the same problem with another device, it refuses to work unless you plug it in AFTER the PC is booted, really strange. It just seems to be "crappy hardware" that causes this and not a driver issue.Originally Posted by fly_dutchie
I have a Leadtek 9532 GPS. It works fine, but after shutdown/start or reboot it is not recognized (unrecognized USB device in device manager).
If I take the USB plug out and put it back in it is recognized and works great.
Also, does anybody know when to use cold restart or hot restart?
