It's all in C++ using DriverWorks for building the driver. I'm kind of regretting that now because it doesn't let me hack the power management functions for hibernate/standby. Argh!

I've been looking a long while for something like this, much simpler than the usual - use one program to send to winsock port - then another program to collect from winsock port and put on virtual com port - variety! What's it written in?
P.S. Sorry to be a pain!!!![]()

This prog makes it possible to run mappoint and destinator at same time, with the same NMEA data?!
Would I have to run it every time at start-up or can I automate it?
sounds great!

Not yet. I suck. I started over with a WDM driver and it attached to all the COM ports but I couldn't tell what port all the data was coming from. Bad idea. I'm still trying though.
