Are you trying to decode the speed camera database?
Whats the exact location of this data?
Hehe, Im sure thats what you are trying to do![]()
Hiya
I have a database of some locations in a format I cannot understand. The following location is somewhere in the centre of the UK and it should somehow translate to GPS coords - I just can't work it out.
000E3C7A0000F5061100
Any ideas?

Don't think I'm doing anything wrong though, bought the GPS camera detector and only trying to decode the XML file it downloads from the net - not planning to distribute it so they can't complain really.
Er, not sure. It's a personal one I added somewhere in Birmingham. I could add a location though and then get the real coords if it helps.Originally Posted by Ricky327

I dont think it contains the altitude info.
I think the best way is to create more samples and see how the HEX code changes.
The real problem it..it may be scrambled.
I'll give that a go, i'll get 3 or 4 samples close together that I know the actual location and see if I can find any correlation etc.
I've also converted it to ascii from hex and it doesn't make any sense which is quite annoying was hoping I had missed something obvious
