Try moving the GPS mouse to another location. I had a similiar problem and it cleared up when I moved it towards the center of the console.Originally Posted by mobileh1
I just received my copy of CoPilot7, installed it and all works. However, the map is off by a block and half for where I live. There are 7 sats it has good signals from. MapPoint is spot on, but no use for car navigation.
Anyone else find CoPilot inaccurate? Kind of annoying after just forking out $$$ for it..

mappoing and delorme topo are both spot on, so the GPS itself is sending the right position, I think the maps themselves are off.

I only have copilot 2003 but it is off sometimes. Such as It would think I am on 8th Avenue which is one way but say I was on 7th avenue.
I just got mappoint and I'll check that out tonight.
Mine needs to be updated.
interesting, let me know what you find. It seems that the GPS is right on, infact, I could put the gps on my laptop and walk around the house and with Delorme Topo 5 I was able to see which corner of the house I was over (on the roof).
It would be most bogus to find that this expensive software has foobar'd map data.
