Circumventing Copilot live activation

I thought I had figured out a way to make copilot work without the activation requirement, I was trying to avoid it because their DRM is flaky as hell. Every time I have to reinstall I end up having to email ALK and get them to release my old activation so I can use it again.

unfortunately, the technique I thought that worked didn't.
