As the topic implies im searching for a GPS-software that works for regular PC's and covers Europe and preferably also Norway (at least major cities).
Sure, i got Route 66, but i doesnt got 3d/birdseye view, it doesnt have turn-by-turn directions and it doesnt "talk"![]()
Anyone know about a better app?
Are u absolutely sure that MapSonic work for PC's? To me it seems like a PDA/palm-application?
See bottom of this - http://www.shop.viamichelin.co.uk/cs...rial.asp?id=92Originally Posted by Henriko

Anybody tested this? Just to know that the 3d/turnbyturn really works in PC-mode... The PC-mode isnt just there to "assist" the PDA mode? Kinda bad explanation, but you get it?
I haven't but it looks like ricky327 has - Alturion and demo modeOriginally Posted by Henriko
I use Map sonic, works good, recalculates the route really fast! and talks to you. but it sucks on a touch screen
I just downloaded the patches, sure they say for pocket PC, but IŽll give it a try... will probably not work.
anyone else who got the 3D working on a PC?
