its connected to a dell inspiron 2500 with a 900mhz proc.
its in the serial port, connected to the light blue connector, but the serial connecter has 2 dongles, and the manual doesnt say where the other black colored one is supposed to go, i knew it wasnt going to work out of the box, ive been trying to get it to work for about 2 hours now

i checked i have COM1 (serial)
and LTP1 (parllell)
i have the gps in com 1 but no go :/
did ya install drivers?
sorry for silly question
You don't need drivers for the serial version.
The serial connector has the 9 pin D connector for your serial port the other connector goes into your keyboard connector (for power).
If you use USB, then the GPS gets power from the USB port, and you only need one connection.
When the GPS is connected you should see an LED light up inside the GPS.
What NewTechFool said is correct. You need to plug that other cable into your keyboard/mouse port to power the GPS mouse. You should a red blinking light on the 'mouse' once it receives power.
woot got it to work
thanks guys, this forum really does kick ***.

I have a question.... I get OUT OF MEMORY 1 from Deluo Program. What is the problem???
Pommi,
Need your system specs. Does it give you an Out of Memory error even after launching the program immediately after a reboot? If it does, sounds like you might need to uninstall and reinstall the program.
I did uninstall and reinstall the program but it still gives me out of memory 1...
I used the computer from AUTOCOM, the carpc.... Their website is www.autocomonline.com. I dont know if they have it up but I believe it's Pentium III something.... don't know exactly... does this help???
