Hey StationRocket thanks for the great screen shots. I will be receiving my software soon and was curious on how it would look on a pc. You also took me back home with those screen shots, I'm from Baltimore, MD now living in Oklahoma. I was like damn those streets look familiar, LOL. Thanks for taking me home

Any chance of letting us try this out by sharing it out on either DC++ or BitTorrent?

oh yeah, that's DEFINATELY based off the same engine as routis... almost looks the same...

whether one is noticably better than the other, I dunno, but I doubt it.

I have Routis 2004 and this is better. It looks a bit cleaner but definitely the same software aside from the newer intellinav version. V2 of Routis 2004 is supposed to be coming out as well this month.

From what i understand the software is written by one company who then offers the oppertunity to "Brand" and sell it to other companys. Routis and iGuidance are the branded softwares that Duelo and iNav sell. I believe that right now if you buy the iNav product you get the new version but that the currently availible version of Routis is still the previous version of the software, though i'm not sure about it. I imagine that Routis will be updated very soon or that everyone will just buy iGuidance.

how fast is the map rotation in 3D on epia M10000?
Also does it show green and blue on the 3D map like it shown on the 2D?
    And 1 last question:
Is it compatible with the GPS mouse that came with Destinator 2?

If you answer "yes" to all three, I might just buy it this weekend...

Please share it on the DC++ hub!!! Or send someone an ISO via AIM or something so they can put it up! I'd be glad to put it up on the hub even tho I can only upload at 20kbps. NoPistonPC has a very fast connection, I could give it to him...
CarPC install is starting to come along again...

I have no complaints about rendering speeds and i have a M1000

I'm not sure I understand the color question but water is blue in the 3D view and the roads are different colors baced on how the road is classified.

I don't know if it will work with your GPS or not. It is advertised to work with any NEMA compatible GPS. If your GPS is USB you will need to install a USB/Serial bridge.

I'm from that area too and the streets looked familiar to me as well. I know Routis was supposed to come out with an updated version at the start of July, but all has been quiet. IS THIS the update??? What does the POI look like? Can you post a screen shot of the POI? I could tell right away if this is the update. Although looking at the maps, this looks like it is.
