I'm not sure I understand the color question but water is blue in the 3D view and the roads are different colors baced on how the road is classified.

I don't know if it will work with your GPS or not. It is advertised to work with any NEMA compatible GPS. If your GPS is USB you will need to install a USB/Serial bridge.

Is it faster or slower than Destinator 2 with the map rotation?

Yeah, I looked at your screens again and notice trees were green and I guess body of water will be displayed too...

Mines is a GPS mouse...although it seems like I can unplug it and get a serial adapter to connect it with...I don't know...Does anyone else that has the destinator GPS mouse clear this thing up?

is there a way to make the buttons bigger for those of us who have 7" touchscreens? its kind of a pain to hit those buttons when they are a quarter inch by a quater inch....

It is faster, and much more responsive. Map rotation in 3D mode is fine. No performance problems.

I cannot stress enough how much better a product this is than Destinator 2. Not even comparable.

And yes, to those that are wondering, this is the new Intellinav 2.0 engine, which Routis 2004 does not have yet.

To those that keep asking, quit asking to share the software out please. BUY IT FOR YOURSELF!!!

It is a great product and they deserve to be paid their VERY fair price for it.

Reason I'm asking is because that probably (HOPEFULLY) means that the upgrade for Routis 2004 is coming soon. I heard that the price for the upgrade is incredibly reasonable. Been waiting for a while for that. I'm very happy with Routis 2004 and it's performance, I can only imagine this one being EVEN better.

The USB/serial bridge is software that makes the USB device look like a serial device to the iGuidance software, not a physical piece of hardware.

I don't know of a way to enlarge the buttons though i have never looked. I have a 7" touchscreen and don't have trouble with them. When i'm using the onscreen keyboard i do sometimes use my phone headset as a stylus though i can manage without it.

And to expand on that, I know that Destinator 2 does require a usb-to-serial driver also. So to answer your question, yes it will work with the existing Destinator GPS. Just leave the usb-to-serial bridge driver installed.

Both software packages have the same driver requirements for GPS mice.

yeah, i went out and bought a stylus, its the only way, but sometimes on bumpy roads I or my passenger tries to hit the options button and ends up with volume control, or muting it, whatever the red one does, (mute?). Anyways, its irritating often. does the pocket PC version run on a desktop/laptop? I like how big everything is!
