Why would you want a PCI GPS when you can have a USB, Serial, or Bluetooth one?

I have understood with pci to car I can have or use TV
Sorry for me english i am spanish sorry lol
Hello, no problem. If you want Satellite TV, you cannot use a GPS card. It gets information from satellite, but not television.
If you want television, you need a TV Tuner (either PCI or USB).
If you REALLY want satellite TV in your car, it costs many thousands of dollars because of a special antenna (sold for RVs) that must be mounted on the roof.
If you want TV then you'll need an aerial. Unfortunately with an analogue system you'll need to adjust it to point at the transmitter. Stabilised satellite receivers are available but are too big to be viable. Interestingly digital tv isn't directional so there might be a possibility of making that work in a car. All I need now is a digi-box, a halfway decent aerial and an old Blue Peter annual.
A few on here will not get that!Originally Posted by Falken

Digital TV _is_ directional. HDTV users need to aim their antennas to get good signal. Who told you it wasn't directional?
if u are willing to have a big *** receiver on your roof do a search
Visteon! I was at a presentation when it slipped out that they have developed a mini-freeview box for use in cars. According to them it's the only way to get TV on the move. Unfortunately their minimum order is likely to be in 10s of thousands.Originally Posted by Chairboy
