    iGuidance experiences

On my 2400 mile or so journey, here is my experience with iGuidance:

    1) Please install ALL states that you will be driving in. I ignored New Mexico when I did mine, and I got alot of 'off road' conditions.

    2) I wish that the tiny '+' and '-' zoom buttons on the bottom could be larger.

    3) When planning a destination, it would be good if you could substitute routes that you already know. It sometimes routes you weirdly.

    4) This is asking alot, but it would be cool that new maps could be downloaded whenever you get a wireless connection.

    5) It would be nice if you could display pertinent information simultaneously, like ETA, miles remaining, hours remaining, speed and altitude.

All in all I was very satisfied with the performance of iGuidance, like immediately re-routing you when you deviate from the planned route.

I've noticed that the maps for iguidance are far superior... I like it better than copilot, but the lack of being able to make buttons/fonts/etc bigger is the biggest drawback to it, since I dont' want to run 640x480

well if you really want to have your preffered route shown in the route list, you will just have to go to Menu -> destination -> detour... find the road you dont like and select AVD (avoid) and press NAV(navigate) it may take a few tries but it will eventually get it right.. OR..since you already know where u want to go.. you can just drive that way and it will recalculate as you go.

as far as the zoom buttons and the pertinent information i disagree and agree respectively. the zoom buttons are small but my fingers seem to be able to hit them.

one really neat feature is that you can control everyting with 6 buttons (arrows) + enter + esc. im thinking of adding a small keypad and a rotary volume control to my set up this should help in many places!!
