By the look of it you will need to build a TTL<>RS232 converter, typically based on MAX232 chips. The datasheet says that the GPS output is TTL.
And of course you will need a +5V regulator, based on 7805 perhaps.
Just to piggy back off of this post:
Just purchased Deluo w/external antenna
This post mentions the Deluo gps unit that has a connector for an external antenna. The only problem with this unit is that it is not WAAS enabled. I would like to use an "all in one" antenna as mentioned in this post:
All in one GSM/FM/GPS Antenna
If anybody else is looking, I did find a module that is WAAS enabled, has a connector for an external antenna, and would allow for a serial connection to a pc:

Can anyone comment on this module or have any recommendations for other modules with similar features?
(There are many CF and Bluetooth modules that are WAAS enabled and have a connector for an external antenna - I would like to specifically use serial or usb input)
Thanks

Also check the garmin GPS modules, they are WAAS enabled.

It already has serial output. Anybody use this? I'll check on price.
Lowest price on Froogle - $93.99 (w/o the external antenna)
