You really don't want to be fiddeling with menues driving 65mph.

I made a small app in VB today using Ninj's winsock interface so that when you press any key at all it saves the current position (long/lat) and location (streetname). The only thing missing is a possibility to read the current speed and perhaps heading (if possible) through the winsock interface.
Considering it was a 10min "hack" before I left work (so I could test it on my way home) it worked out pretty good.

Personally I'd prefer the CSV approach since it would be a lot easier to share POI's.
It would also be easier to edit the POI's before you import them to Destinator (or whatever program you'd like).

This is already implemented in the current dev. build of AIMEE

Really simple to use, even at speed

Goose, give me the cordinates in a text file, like this and I will convert it to a DAT file for D3.

    Log;Lat;descripion

    55.0090;12.4789385;Road 12 North 90km/h
    56.0090;13.4789385;Road 13 North 90km/h
    57.0090;14.4789385;Road 14 North 90km/h
    ....

I just use "AddPointToFavoritFolder" in the SDK for D3, and loop true the textfile (or XML). D3 then create the DAT file.
