If you purchased CoPilot Live 7, you can upgrade for $99. Personally, I think it's a bit overpriced seeing that you can pick up IGuidance 2.0 for that price. I'm going to wait for the reviews before I make the decision to upgrade or not.

street atlas is $50, and it just doesnt compare to Co-Pilot Lives touch screen ease of use and clear and easy gui.
Although Street atlas is good too (I have both) its just not as good as CoPilot, however useful for looking up maps and and finding stuff on your desktop/office machine and maybe printing out directions for friends etc...

ALthough the map has improved (larger) from laptop7 (so small they called it driver safety map? Why safe if its small??) I am still disappointed they they dont make it full screen map (or near full screen). On a 7" touchscreen it will be small even with this new version.
This doesn't apply to the upgrade from CoPilot Live 7, as far as I know. The email I got from ALK said I pay them $99 to upgrade to Live 8. It doesn't make mention of sending them anything in order to get some money off. In fact, that's how I got Live 7 for only $99 a few months ago when they started running that promotion, I sent them DeLorme Street Atlas.Originally Posted by lawrence

I'm waiting to see a review on this as well. I like the 3d maps but still $99 is $99.
I've demoed most of the popular navigation software out there, and I think that CoPilot has the best display and layout of them all. The only drawback is that it's voice prompts absolutely suck. They're very hard to understand and the voice sounds like crap. Voice prompts are important to me, so that's why I currently use Routis. I called up the CoPilot people and asked them if they were using the same speech engine in the new product and the sales guy said he thinks they are. I'm hoping that he's wrong, because that is the only thing stopping me from loving the product.
Maybe we can get a review from some brave soul who buys it. I'll pick it up if the speech is decent.
These both sound good to meIMPROVED! Voice options are crisper and louder.
UPDATED! Live communications allow you to email tracking invites to friends and colleagues![]()

The CoPilot Live features are cool, but underused. You can already use it to track friends and chat with them. Nice to see more work in that area.
