Software & Maps??

Hi all,
I was wondering from where to get and install maps for my area... I got a usb GPS reciever.... wats next. I live in Dubai, U.A.E. Searched for maps on the internet but all i can find is USA, Canada and europe. I know that we have the service over here, but all the cars i see that have GPS get it from the agencies and that includes the hardware and software (Quite expensive -around $5k ). Can Anyone help me with the software and maps for my area.

Try to find a dealer for destinator in your area and search at his site for downloads!!!
That's how we found Greek maps....(thank's to DjBac)!!!!!!!!

i don't think that'll be be easy.... no body uses uses usb GPS recievers over here. Anyways thnx for ur help

Garmin has Maps for the Middle east (all of the GCC countries) Works on PC, Pocket PC and on Garmin GPS. Price, $500 and i have heared that phone shops in dubai have pirated copies for 10 dirhams.
