Thread: Iguidance 2.0 font size is killing me

I've looked through the entire thread and atually tried to use those .exe's posted. Could someone just say where the Menu button in the bottom left is? Or what .bmp it is? As well as the speed in the bottom right? Also any idea on how to get the keys bigger like when you enter in a street name?

The Menu button is not worth changing because it doesn't change the "control area" when you make the bmp bigger, this goes for the keyboard keys as well. The speed is not an editable resource.

Cool thanks. I had read that it doesn't enlarge the "clickable" space but also read somewhere through this thread that if you enlarge the transparency on the .bmp then it does. Maybe I misread that.

Also any files out there that'll increase the Menu items with the text? I changed my theme.ini as well as someone posted in this thread to change the font size to 10 to 14. That seemed to work for the streets and all but not menu options.

I've read this thread about ten times and I'm still very confused as to which of these hacks applies to Routis or iGuidance. I thought they were the same program. I have Routis and really want bigger fonts for the street names. I setup the theme.ini but it didn't do anything. Can someone explain the differences?

Sorry man but I'm pretty sure the theme.ini stuff only relates to iguidance.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

So then guys like whiterabbit are using Routis and only changing the icons with ResHack but not changing the font sizes?

yep! I havent touched theme.ini cause of that post. all Ive been doing is swapping bitmaps with resource hacker
